DH has messed with my phone

Small thing really, but it's given me the rage. For some reason, DH has taken it upon himself to rearrange all the Apps on my phone. He says to make them in alphabetic order, although only about half are now in alphabetic order.

Previously I knew where to find them all, for eg. Vinted was always on page 3, top left, Whatsapp and Messenger were always on page 2. I now can't find anything easily, and I know it's a first world problem, but I'm feeling enraged that he would mess with my stuff like this!

Change HIS passcode on his phone, and when he asks you for it tell him it's more secure this way.

I would be RAGING if somebody messes with my phone. My apps have been organised into folders - there are four categories which makes finding the apps so quick. If some know-it-all decided they knew better, I would tell them to f. off!

Change the pin for your phone for starters. He can’t be trusted! Very annoying.

When i can't do something on my phone, or need some technical help, I google the problem citing the specific phone model, and I usually end up with helpful directions on how to solve the problem. Have you tried asking Google how to move the apps?

I really think it's concerning that your DH felt he had the right to mess with your phone unasked. Did he suspect it would cause you problems and was that part of his motive? Or does he generally think he knows better than you?

Ah. Well, if you don't know where they were before, don't bother trying to rearrange them, because you won't know where to put them anyway.

I would take this very seriously,it's the equivalent of him rooting around in hour hand bag and shows a total disrespect for your privacy. How dare he?!

Tell him to change them back and then not to mess with your phone again. My ex did that with my CD's once - I had them in alphabetical order by artist, he grouped them into genres and dates and God knows what else. It took him hours to put them back.

I have mine in folders for categories e.g clothes shopping, work, finance

Hold down the icon until it wobbles and then drag it to the page you want. It will drag, just don’t let go. Sometimes the apps just rearrange themselves. I have no idea why.

I wonder what else he thinks you're incapable of deciding for yourself. I would ask him in what other ways he wants to interfere with your life.

I was responding to the OP's answer where she said she didn't know where the apps used to be.
As she doesn't seem to know this, I can't understand why she's so upset about their being rearranged.

She can't remember where they used to be, though.......

Yeah this would piss me right off! DH fucked around with the central control screen on my new car and I felt similar rage. He doesn't drive it often but every time he took it upon himself to "tweak" something. I've told him to leave it the fuck alone. I can figure out how to change things back but I don't want to every time he decides to mess about with it. God feel murderous on your behalf.

Who wants to spend their time learning how to do something that they wouldn't need to do if people left things alone. The only time to learn how to move apps on your phone is if you want to not because someone's decided to do it for you!
