Just that really. I turn into an absolutely monster for a day a month. I cried at dropping yoghurt on my sleeve. I got angry that the lights changed just as I approached them - proper anger.

I am a totally different person the rest of the month, completely chilled and breezy

Cried because I ran out of Bourbon biscuits.

Get angry at the door handle for catching my sleeve. According to my period app, it happens a lot in my mid-Luteal phase, whatever that is.

So so so many but it turns out I had PMDD so it was more like half the month I was angry and about to burst into tears.

Nothing emotional, but at one, point until I had an endometrial ablation, I once left home to take a train to a conference and I was bleeding so heavily that, despite frequently changing heavy-duty pads and tampons. I’d soaked through two sets of clothes before I got there.

Menopausal last period from hell. Naturally on big birthday/second honeymoon in glamorous city. Late evening at posh restaurant bled through my last 3 pads. The restaurant had piles of fluffy white face cloths for hand towels. Let's say I improvised.

Lay in the bath and drank half a bottle of red wine to cope with the excruciating pain. I’m not a big drinker… and I don’t like baths!

Eaten a whole pint of Ben and Jerry's. Can't do it since being on Mounjaro though.

I eat everything in sight when I'm pre-menstrual, I have zero self control around food and will eat until I feel really quick sick. The rest of the month I'm fine.

I do wonder if it would be possible to take weight loss pills just when you have PMS to help deal with pre-menstrual hunger.
