Is it just me?

I am currently being bombarded by adverts for Joseph. One of them is of what appears to be a skeletal android with a really weirdly made up face, wearing some kind of long black leather gown thing. She has what I realised on inspection were a large metallic belt and necklace, which appear to look as though she has gynormous holes through her centre and throat.

I find them really alarming and reminicent of a 16th century witch hunt.

I've just checked MN and it seems that it is against rules to post adverts. I did report to Joseph that it scares the bejeepers out of me. Don't know if anyone else has been getting it?

I’ll take this opportunity to say I got amazing Joseph jumper off eBay for 15 quid. Still chuffed every time I wear it.

I'm getting a picture of a thin woman who looks a bit vampire like wearing a jumper that looks like a wolf skin. Quite like it actually. Be nice for Halloween. 🤔

Insulting their creatives? Quite right too. What a daft response from a bit of genuine feedback from a potential customer.

Crikey! £345 for a denim shirt, £75 for a ribbed cotton vest and £105 for an organic cotton T shirt. Nice colour, though.

Yes I thought the belt and necklace adornments looked like holes through her body. That sad, skinny model is scary looking.

Went to the website and all the the models are skeletally skinny and cadaverously pale with bruised lips. There are even short videos complete with Blair Witchy camera shake and blur effects.

I think Halloween has overtaken their senses.
