To ask you to help me find my passport?

I have prayed to St Anthony so it’s only a matter of time, but it would help my blood pressure a great deal if anyone has any pointers?

Do you have a printer with a scanner? Mine was in there

Have you a printer/scanner look in there. If it is kept in a drawer take out the drawers and see if it has fallen down there.

A desk drawer? Or a bag that you last used when you travelled

Think logically... wgat could have used it fir last?
Holiday, work trip, ID check, getting information out of it, photocopying it...

Is it blue or red, are you definietly looking for the right colour?

Life is too short for this. Apply for a new one due to this one being lost or damaged

Down the back of the drawer: take all drawers out and feel down the back

Have you needed it for an ID check? When I lost mine, I found it in my laptop bag.

Look through all your handbags, then look very thoroughly in the place where it's supposed to be. Then partner's pockets, down the sides of chairs and sofa.

Check the bag you last took away, any bag you would have used if you needed it as ID for something, the pockets of your coats, the pockets of any outfits you rarely wear but might have worn on your last trip…

I lost mine, searched the house, replaced it and eventually found the old one years later in the back pocket of a little used black handbag that I’d used for a funeral abroad and subsequent flight back but then completely forgotten about.

when my DH lost his recently when he was literally about to leave the house, I went and looked where we keep our passports and it was in the correct place, but for some reason he had forgotten that passports were now Blue and so had ignored the Blue one and was looking for a maroon one. Maybe you have done similar.

Go back to the place you first thought it was and have a really, really good look

When was the last time you used it ? What bags did you take for that trip if it was used abroad. Has there been any occasion when you’ve needed it to open a bank account or for ID unrelated to travel.

When I 'lost' mine, it was in the drawer it should have been in but rather than laying flat it was on its side so I didn't see it. Not until my replacement turned up anyway. Fingers crossed you find it.

In the drawer where you usually keep it. Yes I realize you have probably checked that a few times already...but in my experience lost things are very frequently in the right place all along.

Have you got children?

Do you use one of those underseat bags on planes with a million and one pockets, have you checked every single one (including the hidden ones)?

Check down backs of drawers, including unscrewing any panels on fitted furniture.

When was your last trip, who were you with, did you come straight back to your house from the airport?

Have you used your passport since - as ID or when booking/checking in for the trip?

Check these key places, then next step is a room by room thorough search. Pull out every piece of furniture and check behind/underneath, fully empty every single drawer/shelf/cupboard/bag/pocket, all cushions off sofas, under mattress etc.

Have a look in the draw / unit ti the right hand side of your bed.

Look in secret hiding places ... mine is hidden so a burgular would not steal it

Where do you normally keep it? Do you have a dp? Could they have it with theirs?
