A driving one, roundabouts

This morning at a busy time at one of those multiple traffic lights junctions.

The roundabout has 3 exits. As I approached there's a car A stopped on the roundabout, car B waiting at it's give way line to the right, 2 cars in front of me. The road to my left has a zebra crossing and it's not moving. 2 cars in front of me go behind car A over the middle of the roundabout to take the 2nd exit. I also need the 2nd exit but the first lane traffic starts moving slowly so as car A is leaving the roundabout entre the roundabout to go to the 2nd exit which is clear. Car B is also moving, but his exit is not clear, so allthough he has right of way, I take it so I'm not blocked but get beeped.

Aibu, I didn't have right of way, should have let the cars to the right keep crawling in front of me. Ainbu, car B had no right to go on the roundabout before the exit was clear.

Without a diagram, it's not easy to imagine what you area talking about.

But the Highway Code says give way to traffic on your right.
Nothing about not entering the roundabout if your exist is not clear (don't know how you could assess that anyway on most roundabouts.

You were in the wrong.

You also say it is light controlled, so you have to be patient and wait your turn.

Car B was on the roundabout and had right of way.
You pulled out in front of B, so you didn't get blocked in.
B beeped at you for cutting them up. Seems fair to me.
