Do we think cats go to heaven?

If it exists, I want my cat to be there. But just cats?

It would be only fair for other animals to go too, especially the ones who spend their lives suffering in battery farms.

Cats cavort with witches - they are masters of dark secrets and they rub against the legs of the Lords of Darkness.
So if there are any in heaven, then someone left the door open. 🐈‍⬛

I meant the Ancient Egyptians mummified cats, so they must have assumed that cats would be in the afterlife.

I don’t believe in heaven, so no. But if there was one, it absolute should be full of billions of cats and dogs.

They go to cat heaven. There’s a cat flap to human heaven which takes then through a portal to their human slave from earth and much the same happens!

I like this and assume it’s exactly as described.

Cats go wherever they want. Have you ever tried to make a cat do something that they don’t want to? Have you ever successfully stopped a cat doing something it wanted?

I am certain that if a cat wants to go to heaven, it will do. It will also then want to go back out again. And then back in again ad infinitum.

When you get to heaven there’s bound to be a cat outside, miaowing to be let in.

i think all animals do. I like the saying “no heaven can heaven be, if my horse isn’t there to welcome me”
my horse and my cat had best be there or I’m filing a complaint!

Makes me cry too. I discovered it just when I needed to. Brought me comfort too.

Yes, definitively there are plenty of animals in heaven.

Yes, they cross the rainbow bridge and they are greeted by all your previous pets who show them where to wait for you to come and get them, then you all enter heaven together.

Officially, yes. But they keep going missing because the guy downstairs keeps his place toasty and they like to curl up by his fire.

I really hope so. I've lost 3 of my 4 cats to the road and they were too young to die (two brothers just a year old), I missed out on all of those years of purry snuggle time.

I'm hoping they and my remaining cat who lived to 14 and my beloved dog who died 4 years ago (and I still miss him every day) are waiting for me when my time comes.

Animals will speak on judgement day and tell of how they were treated.

If all the cats who've ever lived and died are up there, you won't be able to move for fear of tripping over one.

Given most cats hate each other, it should be interesting to watch though. And listen to - imagine all the screeching and hissing!

Ahhh I absolutely love this! When I was younger I used to believe in Animal Heaven and got a bit sad thinking that much-loved pets we used to have might end up separate from myself. I really like the way you have described this. There have been so many amazing cats in my life (and dogs!) it is very comforting to think of this

If animals go to heaven, then presumably it'll be full of all the animals we've ill-treated in factory farms, cosmetic testing labs, whales we've hunted, rhinos and elephants killed for their ivory etc. I'm not sure they'll be so pleased to see us.

Agree. And for it to be properly heavenly, they wouldn’t need to worry about being killed for any purposes - even by each other.
