AIBU to think The Blame was miscast missed a trick

The blame is awful. Just finished it.

The concept and story has so much potential. Think is Helen Mirren or Sarah Lancashire in it back in the day …. instead we get Michelle thingy - who can’t move her face. It’s not gritty or dark if you’ve look like you’ve just had your lips done and had a blow dry. The close-ups just make me wonder at the fillers, not the emotion. It’s totally soulless.

Completely agree. I spend my time looking at her face - how can someone have absolutely NO wrinkles! Such a shame.1

I assume she was trying to play the professional, gritty female police officer but I agree that this meant she did not seem to have any facial expressions at all.

I thought Michelle Keegan and the guy who played her partner looked like brother and sister which added a nice twist 😀.
