To be devastated that Lidl seems to have stopped selling Deluxe range tonic water in cans

It was the absolute best and I loved it

No space in any of the lidls near me so I don't think just sold out

I hate that they just randomly stop selling stuff. Their fizzy pineapple water was amazing, reminded me of a pina colada. And their spinach and ricotta pizzas were awesome and they stopped making those too. Why?

They stopped doing those tasty nduja pizzas too. 😒 they were a Saturday night favourite here.

Sounds like a bit of an overreaction but I don’t like when supermarkets stop stocking things I like.

Nooo! I have 2 in the fridge and 3 in the cupboard. It's the only one I like. I'll have to go on Monday and buy a couple of packs if they have any. 😪

I have a feeling that the reason I don't buy Aldi's tonics is they have sweeteners in them. I feel sure I checked them ages ago but stuck with Lidl's.

Our Lidl stopped selling the Mexican Lime and Elderflower sparkling water last year. I still miss it

If you can get to a Waitrose they do own brand sweetener free canned tonic. I don't know how it compares but I like it and it's much cheaper than Fevertree.

I make my own tonic water. A bit of a faff but it lasts for ages and tastes amazing.

Email your local branch. My Dad asked them to keep carrying a coffee they'd dropped and they started carrying it again. He said branches had a bit of control over stocking some items based on the email they sent him.

Went into Lidl today and they had no packs of their small tins of tonic water at all.

I checked the bottles of tonic ingredients and they have sweetener in them. Won't be buying those then.

Waitrose own brand if you have one nearby, in cans because the bottled stuff isn't fizzy enough. No artificial sweeteners, only one as far as I can tell except Fever Tree and other high end brands, which are all silly money for pointless little cans.

It disappeared at the beginning of COVID and came back only about a year ago, much joy for me.
