Aibu to think this Lidl book spoils Santa

I was in Lidl today and spotted an activity book, the type which my DS7 loves. I picked it up and had a quick look and was saddened by what I happened upon. I have included photos which might not load immediately so please check back!

even if DS didn’t believe in Santa, he has a younger sibling with whom he would have wanted to play this game.
I wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may be in a similar situation.

I agree with you but you’ll get loads of cool posters who “don’t lie to my child” or think a 7 year old should “get a grip” before he gets bullied.

FWIW, I believe in Santa and if my kids dared ask otherwise they’d get short shrift 😅

We never did the Santa thing ourselves; but that's a very odd decision to make: including a strong assertion that Santa doesn't exist in a book that is very clearly aimed at the age where most kids would still believe in Santa.

How stupid of them - they'll get loads of complaints.

DD is 6 and I’m going to maintain Santa is real throughout her entire life. She’ll obviously reach her own conclusion but I’m never dropping the pretence.
