Boobs, bunions & Botox

I’m nearly 60. I’m a fit and healthy 60 but, would I be unreasonable to want these procedures… a bit of background -

Boobs
i had breast cancer in my late 30s. Lumpectomy followed by chemo and radiotherapy. All clear since. I now have one breast bigger than the other - one is a D cup, the lumpectomy breast a B cup. It’s impossible to get a bra to fit - I make do with a c cup bra but it’s not ideal. AI says I would be eligible for breast reduction on the NHS (even though the original procedure was done privately (I had health insurance at the time through my job)) but would it be ethically correct to have this non urgent procedure on our overworked NHS?

Bunions
i hate them. I can’t find footwear. I can afford to have them removed privately but, at my age, is it worth it? I would want keyhole surgery and preferably a local anaesthetic… has anyone had this surgery? What was the recovery time and was it worth it?

Botox
well I could do with a bit of help. I’ve looked after my skin but I know a good practitioner - I mean a bit of Botox isn’t unreasonable, is it?

what do you all reckon?

All of them! I have altered the things I don't like and am so glad I did. The mums will be along in a minute to tell you they haven't looked in a mirror since 1976 but who cares about those losers anyway

You could be waiting a very long time for a breast reduction on the NHS, if it's even approved.

Botox: it's your face; you can do whatever you want with it.

Funnily enough, I am wavering about these exact same treatments at the moment!

Also had lumpectomy (plus chemo and rads). The resulting lymph swelling actually helps bring cancer boob back to a roughly similar size to the other one but it annoys me that they hang differently! I’d def go private for that though I don’t think it’s bad enough to justify NHS treatment.

Have been wanting bunions done for years but am put off by recovery time.

I need to just book a Botox appointment. Just to open my eyes a bit.

I can only speak to the Botox question, which I had done 6 months ago at 58. I don’t have a face of two halves. I got a lip flip, elevenses done, and a bit on either side of my eyes. I really like the results!

All sounds good to me. Nothing wrong with getting anything done on nhs if it's causing you stress.

Bunion surgery would be a question from me, do they hurt? I just heard the surgery can be painful (could be wrong!) so mightnt run into this one as quickly unless it's due to shoes etc.

I’m 53 and I’ve been having Botox every year ish since I was 37. I’ve never had filler and my lower face is fine.

i had bunions done - mostly on work insurance - so worth it - was keyhole and recovery time wasn’t so bad, 2 weeks bedrest, 4 weeks taking it easy. No pain after the surgery but maybe that’s because it was keyhole. Anyone near London doing it privately I recommend Mr Gordon bunion doctor.
