My DH wants to drive back to the UK to collect another piece for his kit car

and my DS has a birthday party and we have been invited out as a couple that same weekend and I don't want my DH to go to the UK that w'end. He says I'm being selfish not letting him indulge in his hobby. It is 10 weeks of summer holidays and he hardly sees the kids as it is and now wants a weekend "off" to boot....what should I do?

From where?
Won't another w/end do?
What the hell is the point of a 'kit car' amyway?

My dad had a kit car. A triking no less www.triking.co.uk/.

Tell your DH to get stuffed. Can't they send the part to him? He has parental responsibilities.

Or maybe he wants to live in the 50s?

PS Try a triking! My mum had kittens when he took me down the road at 100mph, the thing is made of fibre glass and about 2 feet off the ground. It was fabulous!

You've haven't told him he can't indulge in his hobby just that you'd prefer him not to that weekend.

Tell him he has responsibilities that weekend and work out a weekend that he can collect.
