When does it end?

Sure this has been asked a million times before, but when did you feel you finally left the baby/toddler trenches? For context, I have a soon to be 3 yo DS and a soon to be 1 yo DD and am about to go back to work. It’s just feels relentless! I know the days are long but the years are short and I do try to keep this in mind but an indicator of when the pace might slow (or change) would be good to know.

I don’t think it does. It changes but it doesn’t slow.

Hang in there, it feels tough now but it doesn’t last forever.

With mine, I felt a big change around 3 years. I could leave the room without being worried they’d eat a toy. And go up and down the stairs without worry. Toilet trained. Step by step things just get easier.
