AIBU to question Museveni's grandson receiving military training in the UK?

AIBU to wonder why the grandson of a dictator is getting military training in the uk? I just spotted these 2 articles today and this just seems bizarre to me, given the situation in Uganda.

Uk didn’t pay for it
Uganda did
places reserved for international cadets
he did very well and graduated as the best in his group

It’s called soft power. If this country only conducted any sort of relations with 100% nice people from 100% nice countries, we would be totally isolated.

This way, we can expose foreign people of influence (or future influence) to some of the few things in which this country is still world-leading. Hopefully this a) makes them more reasonable and well-rounded, and b) means they may be minded to help us in future.
