i came on my period last tuesday and im still on now it’s not heavy and more spotting but every morning i wake up and the left side of my stomach is painful which is normal the first day or so but not later on and it’s never been this long before

i gave birth 7 months ago but am bottle feeding and my periods came back pretty quickly. theyve always been all over the place and have attached a screenshot from my app for the last 6

i tried calling the gp but they had nothing until next week so i didnt take it as hopefully itll have stopped by then and its a busy week with back to school

should i have though?

Yes, take the appointment and then cancel on the day if it is bo longer required. They can still then use that appointment if you dont need it and if you do then you have it. The slow end to you period is one thing and they would probably shrug and say keep an eye on it. The pain would need checking if it persists. They'll need to feel your abdomen to see if anything feels wrong. Make note of when it's worse, what irritates it etc.
