Or worse, shamed in real life! I think my kids are much more comfortable at refusing to have pictures taken, which is great tbh. Bil just sneaks up behind at gatherings with the fancy zoom lense.

Clearing up after a relative's death, it's nice to have photos to remember people, and I'd never judge how someone looks. I know that these photos would never have been on social media, and that's an issue today, but it's sad that people might not have family candid pictures, only doctored selfies online.

@Pistachiocake I get that, I really do. My own mum was notoriously camera shy in the 70s and 80s and I wish I had more pictures of her and us all together. This was just a particularly close close up. It wasn't flattering at all, in any way. And shared to a group chat, not printed and put in a private family album 😢

I don't generally care, and try to take it on the chin (chins). Just feeling a bit bleurgh today
