Gerd symptoms

I’m not sure if I’m even posting this in the right topic. I’ve been diagnosed with gerd and I’m just wondering what are people’s symptoms?
i experience the chest pains which are scary and I’ve had a few ecgs to rule out heart related issues. Just wondering if anyone else experiences similar?

Hi, me too, and it’s horrid.
Chest pain, (especially when swallowing), as you mention; I chew everything really well now before swallowing, which seems to help.
Pain similar to the chest kind, that moves to my back.
Waking with an acidic taste in my mouth, and sometimes it comes back after brushing my teeth.
A very sensitive gag reflex, when this was never an issue.
Low tolerance for alcohol. A few glasses of wine can sometimes make me feel very sick.
My Dr did all kinds of bloods/scans to rule out pancreas/gastro cancers etc. I was convinced it was too bad to be indigestion.
it co-incided with my fairly early menopause, along with a host of other crap ailments..
Drink loads of water. This has helped ease my symptoms no end.

Sympathies 😩 GERD is awful.
