The finest of Americans.

Indeed, she would have been a billionaire if she didn't spend so much of her own money, bettering the lives of others.

Wonderful Dolly. Now safe in the arms of Jesus.

I think she’s going to be missed. She always came across as a genuinely kind person. I don’t think anyone in the entertainment world has ever said anything unpleasant about her?

I remember the interview she did when she told a story about how she remembered a glamorous neighbour who always wore bright red lipstick and heavy makeup and her mum told her the woman was a tramp. Dolly replied that she wanted to be a tramp just like her when she grew up too! 😂

Well, we know which direction Dolly will go in, if anyone was on the side of the angels, it was that rather wonderful woman. She always seemed to be a tiny vessel for such a huge bundle of both love and of talent.

I don't think I ever heard of her saying a bad word about anybody, nor anyone having a bad word to say about her.

She just seemed so good. She will be missed.

Oh no lovely woman. But a good life lived. RiP

So very sad but what a legacy she leaves! Her imagination library scheme that she started in tribute to her dad who was illiterate, has provided books to millions of children around the world. And her sponsorship of further education for all Dollywood employees. She was amazing ❤️
