Would you use these pans?

My neighbour had a couple of le Creuset pans to give away. I accepted them happily. On closer inspection, some of the black coating has come off, and I know this can be harmful (will attach pic).
Gutted, as I wouldn’t normally use a brand like this 😁

No. Peeling non stick is not to be used, even if it's le Creuset!

Yes no problem. In my experience non stick always starts to come away eventually. If you don't fancy it get some stainless steel pans.

Shame they’re not the enamel ones. Mine are still going strong after 35 years.

Tell your neighbour to contact Le Creuset to complain and to access the lifetime warranty. Le Creuset is generally excellent at customer service.
