Was on the train/tube last week when a man in his 30s got ont eh train rucksack and straggly dog.
He proceeded to get out his camping tin bowl, open a can of dog food stick it in the bowl and put it on the floor for the dog to eat - which it did. No problem at this point.

There was food left, so he then proceeded to pick up the bowl, get out a spoon and finish the dog food off and lick the bowl clean before putting it away.

The woman sitting next to him, was dry heaving and the rest of us were not far off having a small chunder.

What travel behaviours have you witnessed that make you stomach churn.

Sounds like a homeless guy, and you don't sound very sympathetic to someone who has to survive on dogfood.

I’m having a really really bad premenopausal streak, might as well call it a streak. I’m pissed off , sad and emotional. Thank you. This did give me a laugh.

I'd be less bothered by that than people who's phones make noises that are not contained by headphones or people who natter on to their companions non stop.

Not dog food, but a woman eating a tin of tuna on the train. Spooning it on to crackers. That was pretty grim.

and that’s why we know this never happened, dogs eat the whole thing - ALWAYS

Sadly when I was volunteering for a charity while in school a few of the people who used the service told me that they used to eat dog food when they were short of money. They told me that it was cheap, filling and easily warmed up.

During the first days of Covid I witnessed a man run his hands up and down the pole of a Heathrow Express and then lick them. I guess he really wanted a few days off work ...

It happened and no he definitely was not homeless or poor- quallity camping gear and rucksack.

The most disgusting thing I've seen on the tube was an otherwise normal looking, grown man cutting his toenails; bits flying off everywhere. He was immune to my evil looks.

Mine was a woman giving herself a full mani/pedicure. I really hate feet and she had hers all over everywhere getting to her toes. The smell of polish was strong.

Many, many stories of the tube from wanking men, to copulating couples and vomit.

Yes, if it's true, and I'm not going to laugh because there are homeless people sharing food with their dog in this way in Britain, he's not hurting anyone else-no one would say much if he'd got out a sandwich. There's far worse on trains, like the woman cutting her toenails.

Yes, who is more reprehensible, the unhoused man eating Pedigree Chum or the businessman in his three piece suit?

People do eat pet food. 30 Years ago I worked in Asda and z man used to buy 7 packets of own brand smash and 7 tins of cat food. He looked really unkept and his clothes were falling apart. I’m pretty sure he was eating the cheap cat food.
