I suddenly got massively emotional coming back on this site after 18 months ago when I fled domestic abuse by my family.
I’ve lurked on here for years getting cleaning tips, finding out what the best home items were and reading general advice,
I don’t want to say too much as some of the people I fled found it funny that I’d google “mumsnet best hoover” for example because I had no guidance from my own mother and everything suggested has been so so helpful. Even relationship advice, money advice. I’d come for everything.
So I’ve signed up for the first time instead of lurking, and I wanted to thank everyone. You never know who’s watching and who you’re helping x
Now I have an entire home to decorate lol so I’m returning to my most trusted source :)
