Neighbours visitors parking on my driveway?

My neighbours visitor parked on my driveway blocking me in.
This wasn't the first time this has happened either.

This time I came out and told him to move his car and to never under circumstances park here again, he moved. I asked why couldn't he park on her driveway considering there was an empty space?

Backstory here.
Me and my NDN don't get on, she had caused
me numerous issues since living here.

Playing loud music.
Talking about me to other neighbours.
Having her visitors park on my driveway.

The loud music finally stopped after someone finally reported it (beat me to it) after the HA intervened.

I feel like reporting this not to make a complaint but so it's on her record as she has caused me a lot of anxiety.

Do you want to have to disclose a neighbour dispute should you ever want to move?

It's a rented HA property.

Preventing access to a public highway is a criminal offence so if your neighbour blocks your car in on your drive you can call the police. (Don’t let them fob you off by telling you it’s a civil matter - remind them it’s a crime under Section 137 of the Highways Act 1980).

What was the reply when you asked why they didn't park on your NDN's drive?
I can't imagine having the audacity to do this.

I think if this is a regular occurrence and they keep deliberately blocking you in then you should report it.

He said "sorry I didn't realise" and immediately moved.

Same person did this last month as well (wasn't in but saw it on my Ring).

So he moved and apologised. I don't see why you'd report it unless it happens again.

I even told her nicely to stop doing this as it blocks my own access.

Park at the end of your driveway so that there is no space behind you to park

Park behind them and block them in and then pretend your asleep and don't answer the door. Bet they don't do it again.

Hopefully this visitor won't park there again as they seem to have responded sensibly. If she doesn't have many visitors I wouldn't complain yet but maybe keep a record of how often it's happening. Is it very obviously your driveway or would it be worthwhile putting up a sign? You say it blocks your access so could you park on the actual driveway yourself? (Not that you should have to but might make it harder for your neighbour to be a twat.)

Can you do something like this @ketoqueenn ? I know you’d have to move if you have visitors (if there’s room for two cars) but it might help.

The person who parked on your driveway acted in reasonably good faith, despite their poor choice of friends. And responded when challenged. Parking so it is impractical in future is a valid suggestion.

I'd be inclined to be awkward in more subtle ways. If you go out earlier than them and it would wake them up, sound a horn loudly once because an invisible dog is running across the road, for example.

@LlynTegid Yes he acted liked he didn't know it was my drive away despite the bins having my house numbers on it lol.

This neighbour has caused me a lot of stress to be honest over the last few months.

She would play music so loud in her back garden that I could hear it from one of the front bedrooms from mid afternoon until the evening.
