Is summer more for extroverts?

I do like summer, but often welcome winter when I can hide away more. Less people are going out, no one really in their gardens or around as much.
Is winter for introverts?

This is an an interesting discussion.

I am a summer lover and a winter hater. I'm not particularly extroverted but not an entire introvert.

What I am though, is quite prone to low mood...I think this is the reason I dislike winter. A grey, drizzly dark day can make me feel very low and tip my mood over. The warmth, sunshine and light evenings keep my mood buoyed up.

I love summer and I'm definitely an introvert. But I hate being indoors, would much rather be outside all day. In the summer I often sleep in the garden.

Interesting.

I like summer and I'm an introvert. I like the fact that I can sit in my garden which is not overlooked and can pretend to be out and not answer the door if people come round.😂 It's also easier to say 'Oh we have plans, I'm afraid' in summer and people believe you.

I also quite like the cosyness of autumn and darker night. I bloody hate the greyness and wet of Jan/Feb though.

Summer loving introvert here. Dreading the cold wet darkness

I was thinking this about the cultures of hotter vs colder countries.

Hot countries like Spain, Greece, India, the Carribbean, Latin America etc all seem to have cultures which are very social orientated but OTOH nothing ever happens to a predictable schedule and it can be a bit haphazard in that way.

Whereas colder countries like the UK, Canada, Germany, Finland, Sweden etc seem more insular and people can be more independent, and things mostly run smoothly and predictably but maybe we are a bit more isolated from each other.
