To be a bit gleeful about Harry's court case

Serves him right. He's made millions from Netflix, book deals and accusing them of being racist. Bit odd he's now coming back.

Will the King pay his debts.I hope not. Now the long suffering public will be fleeced for his security costs which will be around £5m a yea r. And they wonder why they are unpopular.

What is there for me to agree or disagree with in what they said? They stated their own feelings.

I fully accept that’s how they feel and, in the wider context of this being a frequent theme, suggested that their passion has tipped over into obsession in a way that may be unhealthy.

It wasn’t done in support of H+M, who are truly but a tiny speck in the Atlas of my life, but to suggest that poster make like to take a tiny step back to evaluate where her interest is rather disproportionate.

Let’s be clear here you didn’t suggest, you said they were mentally ill for having the opinion they did. And I repeat who are you to diagnose anybody with anything.

PuttingouthefirewithGasoline · 22/08/2026 12:09

Harry did not choose to be born royal or have his mum and dad drag personal affairs through book deals /tv interviews and all the rest . Then to have his mum die in that way, no positive spin at all !!
Then all the tawdry Fayed stuff after...

Forced to walk behind the coffin ...

We owe him .
We buy into this system don't we ? We are collectivly to blame.

MintChocCat · 22/08/2026 12:10

Weird to hate someone who’s been forced into the public eye. Weird to celebrate their downfall imo. Says everything about your character, OP.

I agree, Doreen has been through the mill, trying to get justice. It has been a long road for her family. I hope that those who sued are able to get help to cover the cost of losing.

I hope the rich ones cover her share. Awful if they don't.

LeedsLoiner · 22/08/2026 12:11

By siding with the Daily Mail you’ve already shown us what sort of person you are.

We owe him nothing. He has lived a life of extreme privilege and wealth as they all have and in return for that they carry out public duties to support the UK and the commonwealth. Harry was the one who bit the hand who fed him and he is now having to face the consequences of HIS actions.

caringcarer · 22/08/2026 12:14

He had absolutely no evidence and his own council must have advised him against pursuing the claim. As usual Harry thinks he knows best. No he's been burned perhaps he will stop these stupid court cases. I bet Meghan will be furious with him.

Its not us who has put them at the very beginning of the BBC news yesterday. Putin bombing Ukraine and threatening the UK. No. Its those two making the headlines Ukraine was second. So don't blame posters. Harry and Meghan being forced down our throats at every turn I thought they wanted privacy.

So why are you siding with the newspaper that’s shoving them down your throat?

Where is this mythical hate that people keep coming on these threads and declaring?

It’s exactly what Harry said about his own brother in his bestselling book. Gratuitously nasty, I agree.

I can feel sympathy for him for many things but as to baldness don't dish it out if you can't take it and it might not bother him so no need to worry.

Wow id love to know in what world forcing young children who have not chosen their place or destiny to walk behind their tragically killed dead mums coffin is a privilege ? To please a baying public ??
And all the rest !

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 21/08/2026 17:57

I can't help remembering Harry's unpleasant gibes about William going bald, a few years back. His going bald himself feels like poetic justice: he went on about it as if it were a moral failing in his brother, and now he's going to have to suck it up if people do the same about him.

Eh? In the same sentence Harry said he was going bald too, just that William’s was more advanced.

It’s weird when people post a line from a book without context.

Are you for real? Look at the OP’s thread title, and you don’t need to look far to see the hatred towards Harry & Meghan.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 22/08/2026 12:20

The weird hating Harry obsession is getting out of control.
The daily mail is the worst offender. It is truly embarrassing, yet Andrew lives in peace and King Charles got to avoid any awkward conversations about how much he knew about the sex scenes in the palace.

Popstarrrrr · 22/08/2026 12:21

It's wasn't just Harry's case though. Several other people are now in the same position. I don't support whatsoever how the press hound people, but if there was anyone to be hounded in the royal family it's not H&M by a long shot.

You don’t have to like the daily mail to think their legal expenses should be paid by those wealthy and privileged people who dragged them to court with no evidence and who were slammed by the judge for doing so.

Of course I stand with the innocent party in this case. It shows what sort of person you are that you do not.

No, no hatred there. You seem to have a rather perverse view of what constitutes ‘hate’. Being pleased, or even gleeful, that someone taking a vexatious court action is required to pay the other sides bill is not hate.

We owe a now grown 40 something man throwing a hissy fit nothing. You are also forgetting his brother was there at the time you know walking beside him.

Lugol · 22/08/2026 12:31

VestibuleWeaver · 21/08/2026 15:47

You’re criticising him for balding? Pathetic.

Harry was happy enough to criticise Will for the same thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Totally agree. A group of wealthy people taking a newspaper to court with no evidence, who then unsurprisingly lose, seems to upset a few people on this thread.

nomas · 22/08/2026 12:38

In one statement, signed in August 2021, Mr Burrows claimed to have targeted “hundreds, possibly thousands of people” through voicemail hacking, landline tapping and accessing financial and medical information for a journalist at the Mail on Sunday.

But in a later statement signed in March 2023, Mr Burrows said he wished “to make clear that I was never instructed or commissioned by (a journalist) or anyone at the Mail on Sunday or the Daily Mail to conduct unlawful information gathering on their behalf”.

Sounds like someone got to Mr Burrows.

British legal system is a joke.

Don’t be ridiculous. It seems the law following its natural course and coming to a lawful decision has again upset a lot of people.
