To think Meghan Markle has every right to worry about her security?

I’m not a monarchist and haven’t really taken much notice of the whole saga, but obviously do know the main points.

However, the comments across Mumsnet and multiple newspapers and websites are absolutely insane and unhinged. People who don’t know them insisting she’s leaving Harry and the kids, is controlling him, that they’re skint and tge
kids will have to go to state school if Charles doesn’t pay, people saying they hope a random stranger sees her and gives her ‘some home truths’.

It is absolutely crackers and I worry about the sanity of the people who seem to really believe they know them.

I don't read social media.
That was on MN.
Plus suggesting people who have been fined £millions might be skint is hardly "insane".

Mumsnet is social media.

They will clearly be insured against the costs.

They are multi millions. The son of the King, who inherited vast sums of money from his relatives, and who will have the best bakers investing the money, is not going to be sending his children to state school and asking his uncle to stay in the spare room. It’s quite mad.

I just find it odd you arrange to move somewhere without telling anyone that is apparently unsafe. With no tax payer funded protection, then say you want it even though you moved there already? Every other working Royal only gets it when it is for official duties except Charles, Camila, William, Kate and Kids.

So Princess Anne, Zara, Phillip, Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugene, Prince Edward and Sophie amd kids do not get any protection only for official duties.
Harry may have done better if he hadn’t bragged about his time in the army and who he killed, that was quite crass and insulting. I am guessing when he was part of the RF they gave him better advice.

And I’m not even mentioning how he / they upset a lot of the British Public, that’s a whole other story. Shame as all this detracts on the constant hard work all the others do.

Why do you care? Just ignore them, they don’t affect your life in any way. They owe you nothing.

I care because I’m British and they have slandered Brits.
I care because they are fighting for me and other tax payers to pay for their security.
I care because I value our royal family and they have damaged it, or at least tried their very hardest to.

Why do you care that I dislike them so much?
What’s it to you what others think of them?
Why do you have to judge people with legitimate grievances to be ‘unhinged’?

Well, I've never seen comments about sending their children to state schools nor living with uncles. Anyway, such comments obviously make you very upset.
I think maybe just step away from Mumsnet.

Anyone of the British public who has been upset by celebrities they have never met needs to get a serious grip of themselves.

How have they slandered the Brits? What exactly have they said that you feel is a personal attack?

I think it’s disturbing behaviour how angry people are about them.

Just like the public owes them nothing especially security.

Cos they can't be armed here.

Well surely the obvious answer would be they remain in the US

She’s never said this, but even if she had, she’s a black woman who’s had experience of both countries and she’s allowed to voice them. Why are you so angry with her? Surely your anger should be directed at those who’ve made her feel uncomfortable whilst in the UK?

So she’s allowed to use her voice but others can’t?

I was on Reddit one night and the subject of Harry and the army came up a bunch of guys hopped on to tell us that he did nothing in the army he wasn't allowed to and that guys would be forced to essentially be his babysitter so he didn't get himself killed 😂😂 they hated having him there

Harry is not a celebrity.

As long as the British taxpayer is funding anything (£500k for electric prison vans in Albania for example) then they should get a say in it and have the right to an opinion. Unfortunately for Harry & Meghan that includes their security if we end up paying for it.

They said that the British public is racist and that is why she had such a hard time here and they had to leave.
She’s batshit.

It is totally normal that people should be angry with them. The fact you don’t get it doesn’t make it ‘unhinged’. It just means you haven’t been listening.

I just don't understand how the UK was too dangerous for her and the children 2 weeks ago, causing her to change travel plans last minute and cancel public engagements, but now they are moving here and enrolled in schools. Has the threat disappeared?

I don't have a strong opinion about either of them but they do seem to make a lot of noise for a couple who don't want public attention

This????
they change their minds every 2 mins and people are bored with it all at a guess?

Seriously, it doesn't matter if someone posts that, really. Most people understand that H&M are multimillionaire aristocrats who'll never have to mingle with the plebs.
Just let it go.
