I've been reading MN for nearly a year now and have learnt lots, felt huge sympathy and had some good laughs.
But, I now find myself having an almost constant dialogue in my head with MN...just about every micro annoyance =AIBU?
(e.g. changing bin bags ..
very annoying...do I need to ask on mn if everyone feels the same? No. Of course I dont).
I do post occasionally but honestly it's almost getting weird...i have a Real Life with good friends, a DH etc blah blah lovely times...but honestly..Dearest Mnetters...should I throw you back or is this "normal"?

It shouldn’t take over your life. I enjoy reading mn and I occasionally post (like maybe 5x a year) when something annoys me usually and I want to vent. I do go on most days and occasionally get invested in a post (although I do remind myself it could be made up) but it doesn’t interfere with my day to day life. It works for me, I like the social side of it.

My biggest MN downfall is waking in the night and getting lost in posts for hours. I don’t think about MN in the day tho unless I have a spare 5 mins.

I would take a break.
