Totally totally one sided. And very dangerous as a result of that. AIBU to think this?

I think the programme was very brave and will have given many parents food for thought. It was at pains to communicate that the behaviours were real (hyperactivity, inattention etc) but the explanation for those behaviours was not. This was backed up evidence from leading psychiatrists and doctors. In a nutshell, the message was: If you want to drug your child to change their behaviour then fine, but don’t be fooled into thinking you are rebalancing any defective chemistry in the brain or electrical signals because there is no scientific evidence for any of that.

"This was backed up evidence from leading psychiatrists and doctors."
