Friendships after separating

Separated from husband 8 weeks ago. We are mid 40s with 12 and 14 year old boys.

Am noticing support networks need untangling.

His fanilg have barely bothered- lots of excuses etc.

I have my friends, some who have been amazing. Even colleagues who have reached out.

Couple friends- right now i am contonuing to see the women in one group of couple friends. Have vented once. Realise i need to stop that as it'll potentially get back to ex.

There is one couple who i am not sure what to so with though. Met through the men football coachinf and the partner and i watchin football. The children no longer play for the team.

The men have been playing football together for a while and the partner ans i have been in a netball team togethee for a year. Sometimes when i see her she asks about things she would only know from us- so they still see ex. She has told me she still sees ex sometimes. She is reaching out to me oitside of netball, invitong me to socials etc. I like hwr as a person and have valued her as a friend ovwr the years. However long term i feel like im not going to be able to talk to her about life etc if they are in touch with him. Part of me thinks i should make my excuses to leave rhe team, league and join another league and fade out this friendship. Or am i being a bit rash?

Yanbu- slowly distance myself from the friendship while its all raw and horrible anyway
Yabu- slow down and see how it pans out. Just keep chat away from ex

Understandable since you only separated 8 weeks ago, but I think you are massively overthinking this.
