“Sex weaponisation”

Each time I’ve read the phrase “weaponise sex” it’s been when a man has treated a woman at the very least sup optimally and when commenters suggest not shagging him until he apologies/atones/acknowledges/whatever is needed to resolve what he’s done they’re accused of telling people to weaponise sex which is apparently the worst worst thing a woman can possibly do.

AIBU in thinking that this is a completed demented concept and that the alternative, ie shagging someone while holding onto upset, anger or resentment towards them, is much much worse?

I also get the impression that some posters think sex is only enjoyable to the male. Maybe to them it is, but it's natural that women get just as much pleasure as men do....maybe more, they are never under pressure to 'perform'.

I agree with you, op. The thing is… lots of ideas are misused. It’s in fact the norm. We laugh at misunderstandings like ‘ Chester draws’ but we are blind to people using the term ‘ racism’ and ‘ fascism’ with an equal level of ignorance.

use of accurate language is a skill. It requires clarity of mind.

basically what we wade through is heaps of undigested half chewed notions, daily, on the internet, and in the media.

and it’s getting worse, because there is a tremendous wave of envious attack upon the articulate, from the inarticulate.
