Who is your unusual crush?

Who do you find attractive but they're perhaps not attractive in a conventional way?

I'll start with David Baddiel. Something about him. His facial hair is sexy. He did a series cycling round France with Hugh Dennis (who I also have a crush on) and the pair of them were a joy to watch. Witty and intelligent. He's also fiercely proud of his Jewish heritage.

I'm ashamed to admit it as political I'm centre left but I find Jacob Rees Mogg strangely attractive, I think it's the voice...

I'm now going to die of embarrassment..

OMG 🫣🤣😂

Amandatelly · 02/08/2026 18:01

Please tell me you're being sarcastic?

Oliver Tree. Rest in peace 😢

tartyflette · 02/08/2026 18:05

I like Martin Clunes, he seems friendly, nice, a good actor and a decent bloke. I’ve . seen him in a few TV appearances, (non acting roles) laughing and having a really good time.
Not exactly crush material though but very attractive.
Sorry, that sounds as if I”m damning him with faint praise, I’m really not.

MrsPeacockWithTheCandlestick · 02/08/2026 18:05

George Obbourne. I just can’t explain it.

Me too, Gordon has something about him….

I'd shag him in a heartbeat regardless of my relationship status.

Enjoy Grin
He likes Wedding Cake though !

He does, you're right! But oh my, talented..and in Slow Horses...

kierenthecommunity · 02/08/2026 18:09

Richard Beckinsale. Not unusual in the sense that he’s unattractive, he was absolutely gorgeous. But unusual for the fact he’s been dead getting on for fifty years.

My teenage far too old for me politician crush was Dr David Owen the SDP leader 😂

And Jason Isaacs. First noticed him in The Patriot and fancied him on the spot, despite playing a horrible character. He's aging well 😋

twohotwaterbottles · 02/08/2026 18:12

I used to fancy Mr Tumble. Maybe I had post natal depression. Dunno 🤣He was just so warm and kind.

liftingprincess · 02/08/2026 18:13

Cheerful Charlie on clarksons farm for sure

Cheerful Charlie (Clarkson's Farm).

I shall offer no further explanation or context

Yes! He was who I was going to say.

ToadRage · 02/08/2026 18:14

Dwayne Johnson. I have loved him for years but my friend says he is ugly.

Steve Pemberton (Inside No9)
He is outrageously clever
Speaks German and French
His characters can be funny, camp, vunerable or out right evil.
Such expressive eyes .

I'll leave you all Reese Shearsmith to fight over .

Those two are utterly brilliant - an over-used word, but I’ve followed their careers and I’m in awe of their inventiveness and vast knowledge of so many things under the guise of being a pair of daft lads.

MirrorMirror1247 · 02/08/2026 18:14

James Acaster.

I stand by it.

LambriniBobInIsleworthISeesYa · 02/08/2026 18:14

Tom Davies, Danny Dyer (especially now he’s in his Dad-Bod era), Ken Stott… oh I’m sure I’ve got loads more but I can’t think of them right now.

And yeah, I completely get David Baddiel. Have you read his memoir about his family OP? It’s so funny, makes him all the sexier.
