AIBU to worry persistent bloating could be more than adenomyosis?

Since my last horrendous period where I was finally diagnosed with adenomyosis I have been persistently bloated.

im on the waiting list for a coil fitting and im told adenomyosis causes constant bloating but AIBU to worry that it might be something else?? Anyone else experience this with Adenomyosis?

You need to talk to a specialist bit it sounds very much like adenomyosis.

Yes I posted something about this once as I honestly look 4-6 months pregnant before my period comes on. It’s not permanent bloating for me but when it is there, it’s horrendous!

Btw did they do a scan to diagnose it? Mine was v obvious so I’ve been less worried since they said that.

They did an internal ultrasound. It’s weird because this bloating only started after my last period but the other symptoms of adenomyosis have been there months.
the last period was the worst ever though - unbearable pain, huge clots, shooting pains down my legs, tumbling blood pressure - It was awful

You shouldn't feel bloated all the time.
I have 2 areas of adeno and can't say I feel anything other than a slightly longer period.

I'd ask your GP to send you a FIT test ( tests a stool sample) to rule out any bowel issues.

You should also have had your ovaries scanned when they found your adeno.
