Driving: written test and driving test

NC. Posting here for traffic. Pardon the pun.

I have just received my provisional driving licence and now have time available to prepare for the theory test. I would appreciate recommendations for reading material, YouTube channels, podcasts, or any other effective study resources. And just any tips, pitfalls etc you would like to share.

I intend to begin studying today.

DD used the Driving Test Theory 4 in 1 Kit app - costs about £5 but it’s brilliant and definitely worth the money. She used the app religiously & made sure that all sections were completed & correct - ended up scoring full marks in the multiple choice section. She struggled a bit with the hazard perception section but still ended up with a good pass mark - Google the ‘three click method’, it really helped her!

Echo the above poster re the app. And just to add; if possible use a larger screen eg iPad or laptop to do hazard perception as whilst the rest of the theory test is fab on a phone the hazard perception needs a larger screen ime. Good luck

Both my autistic girls who have been learning to drive used this, too. Both passed with 49/50. It took 10 days for DD2 (the less confident one) to feel ready to take her theory test, and she really only practiced for 3 of those.

Both my kids did two days using the app and passed. Not sure if that was just luck!

Perfect! Will use iPad with the view to move to laptop. Used laptop when I first came across it but things didn’t look clear! As in, things looked far out in the clip.

For practical test: Conquer driving on youtube is good.
