Do you care if an ex’s new partner is a lot more attractive than you are?

I probably am being unreasonable, but is it human nature to feel a bit weird if you see your ex’s new girlfriend is A LOT better looking than you are?

Even if it was a long time ago that you were with them and you definitely don’t have feelings for them anymore. She (new gf) is so pretty I think I may fancy her!

YABU - I wouldn’t care
YANBU - It probably would affect me

I feel sorry for any girlfriends of my exes. They’re exes for a reason! The ones I have seen have been very pretty but I can genuinely say that hasn’t bothered me. They’ve drawn the short straw of having partnered up with a knob!

I saw a photo my exs new girlfriend and she was quite different to me and not at all what I expected. I thought what does he see in her?! I don't want to be with him at all. So it can work both ways.

Doesn’t bother me, he’s my ex for a reason and tbh I feel sorry for his current/ future partners as unfortunately a leopard never changes his spots in his case at least and he’s been married and divorced twice since we split 13 years ago!

Of course YABU, he has technically put you in the same league that she is in ;)
