Are there women who would have a man move in, buy him a puppy and take out a mortgage with a man they have only know for 12 weeks?

Not a chance.

PoppieCock · Yesterday 20:23

I mean this can’t be a random question OP so what’s the story?

Boxfrog · Yesterday 20:23

APinkAndSpottyGiraffey · Yesterday 20:23

Yes they exist.

is it a good idea? NO.

ilbehonest · Yesterday 20:24

I mean some have kids with men they have known for far less time so who knows 🤷

I left husband in March.
since then he has met someone, moved in, had a puppy for his birthday and is getting a mortgage with her.
all info is coming via 19 year old daughter.
im thinking this has been going on since before I left.

Obviously someone has.

Some people bungee jump.

Some people skydive.

If you get my drift

Katie Price

beeautifullif3 · Yesterday 20:29

Yes most of them are on here 🤣🤣

bluebeck · Yesterday 20:35

Absolutely yes. Have you not been on MN very long?

Some women are so utterly DESPERATE for a man, any man, they will do all that and more.

Are you sure he didn’t know her before? Could he have been in an affair with her for a while? Happened to me, just saying.

That’s what OP is saying in her last sentence. “I think this has been going on since before I left”

Fakeplasticchimneyswhy · Yesterday 21:25

Unlikely. I’ve been in a similar situation to you. My ex had to explain a £5k payment for a car which showed up on his account shortly after we split but which he hadn’t declared as an asset on the financial order. When asked by my divorce solicitor, he said the car was for his new girlfriend. My solicitor then informed him that he would have to declare her income and assets as well since they appeared to be in a financial relationship, to which his reply was that they were no longer together. So they got together, he bought her a car, and then she left taking her car with her, all in the space of a few months. Blatantly a lie but I just cba to chase it up so I let it go.

I've come to realise that many men move on very quickly. Not just after divorce, but after being bereavement too. My dad met someone within 6 months, it wasn't that he didn't love my mum, just he was completely lost without her and sought to fill a hole in his life.

You haven’t even read the post you’ve quoted.

Of course she’s not sure 🙄
