So my neighbour is genuinely awful but never had a problem most of my street have though.. this is a long one so bare with me please next door have always spoken to me and DP I think they see us as friends as we’re really chill etc but they’ve had arguments with literally everyone else on the street .. but as it’s the 6 weeks they let there kids play out which is fair enough but there awful kids and I feel bad saying that but they really are swearing bad behaviour throwing things at cars shooting BB guns repeatedly out the window but there youngest who’s 5 is just left to play and my DC is constantly getting in trouble because she cry’s a lot over anything if my DC says no to going on slide she will scream bloody murder and then her parents come out shouting people need to teach there kids to be better etc.. you get the point it’s always someone else’s DC but The other day I was cleaning and heard them shouting about my DC saying should be taught how to F behave anyhow I brought DC in and they said it was because she didn’t want to give her scooter …… neighbours say all there kids are autistic etc but just looking for advice as I’m dreading the 6 weeks with constant shouting and bullying from neighbours like it’s never there kids basically.

I would stop my dc playing with theirs altogether.. No way would I be allowing my child to think it's acceptable for someone to cry if they can't get their own way in life.
This is how kids grow up into adults who pander to other people's needs.

Let them deal with the shit show in a few years with their kids who are going to become big brats .

There's sooo many parents in this day and age that are gonna get a big reality check when their kids become teenagers .

That’s how I feel because they’ve also got an older daughter who’s 20 doesn’t work or leave the house always just in the garden smoking 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes, in the circumstances, she’s bloody well allowed to judge!

Too many parents are just useless, @LellyLov2 , but this lot with the BB guns and the rock throwing is beyond that.

Can you get together with other neighbours to contact police/local authority? Probably won’t do much but it might quieten things down at least temporarily.

Yes, they sound like brilliant parents who have done a great job at raising their children. 🙄

Are they tenants or owners. If they are tenants can you and other neighbours contact their landlord? Are they LA or HA tenants? Some LAs and HAs can be proactive on anti social behaviour.

I think many inadequate parents use “autism” as an excuse for feral behaviour.
I know people with children with autism - but they would never dream of allowing them to make a nuisance of themselves on the street.

Yes my daughters friend has autism but he’s a lovely little boy and the other day DP heard neighbours talking about claims and money they get for all the DC truthfully I think it looks like learnt behaviour if that makes sense don’t want to sound mean
