Hello ladies!
An employment contract question:
When I got the job offer, I signed an original contract that mentioned that my bonus was on annual basis.
A few weeks later, I signed an addendum that said that my bonus was then going to be paid on a quarterly basis.
A few weeks later, I got another addendum that the bonus was actually a commission (but the terms and conditions were the same).
I now been handed another contract which is a carbon copy of the very original one (they’ve just changed my manager’s name).
Is it reasonable to think then that the two addendums were just a “blip”?
I’ve asked this to HR but they can be dismissive (as they don’t know the answers themselves most of the time). - My husband said I was being difficult for asking for clarification but I think it’s the right thing to do.
PS I actually prefer the quarterly payout but I don’t think I have any grounds to request to keep that in place (especially when they can’t assess my performance this quarter).
anyway AIBU to ask for clarification? Because my DH thinks it’s obvious
