Had my first driving lesson for ages today. Drew up and stopped at the side of the road. Nosey old bag came up to the instructor's window and started complaining about us being parked - perfectly legally - near her house. Going on about her lunch guests not being able to park. FFS it is a public road, we were 50 yards from her very big house with a very big drive and she was wasting MY time that I had paid for! Grrrrrrrrr.

I would have snapped at her but the instructor was being super-polite. Went past her house later and there was no-one parked on the street anyway so it was probably a big lie. Am planning to take ds round there later and encourage him to pee in her bushes.

lol. is it a road used a lot by other instructors?

theres a road in st albans and every 5 mins or so a lesson car stops and either reverse parks or reversing round the corner. it does annoy a few residents.

Morning everyone, realised I was late for Pilates and had to cut and run. Can't drive up there yet!

Hoxton, that is a good idea. I'm going to ask my instructor if I can drive up to the old bat's house next time. Might 'accidentally' do a twenty three point turn in her drive!

And no, I don't think it is, Misdee, my last instructor never went anywhere near it. And it's only a couple of hundred yards from my home. But much more expensive properties.

Some people think because they live in a big house they own the road as well.

Practise all your 3 point (or in my case 5) turns outside her house. Empty your ashtray outside her house ho ho ho.

I like the fact that my area is used by driving schools - it means there are always people driving slowly about which lessens the burglary rate.
YANBU - I understand how pissed off you are. Put an invoice through her door for the cost of the lesson!

Peeing in the bushes tut tut tut ....you need to borrow a really big dog feed it rotton fish then walk it to the driveway ..........................plop plop plop
