thats putting it politely! All day long i have been running around after them. I am 24 week pregnant with my third and full of a cold so thats not helped.

It was a beautiful day here, so i filled up their paddling pool, no mean feat blowing it up and then working out the stupid hose! I got them in their cossies, stuck a load of toys in and watched them playing.

I made them some sandwiches, 2 slices of bread cut into four, because they were saying they were hungry...they both turned their noses up at them, and said they wanted sweets. erm i think not. 1 hour later, they finally eat a bloody sandwich. after ten mins of being cross i give them a little pack of sweeties. (little fizzer wizzler thingies)

5 minutes later, the fighting commences...the eldest teasing the youngest and i am feeling PRETTY unamused at this stage. Try to amuse them and get strops and chucking of toys.

I decide they are tired, go to get their cuskis (baby comforter) and find that my eldest has taken them down...where are they? in the swimming pool. ARGH! So i put them for a nap without cuskis and they proceed to mess for over an hour, finally going to sleep at 2.45pm.

This is where mean mummy comes in, i made them get up at 3pm as they are 3 and 2 and i dont let them sleep passed that. Of course they were whingy and i dont care! I am not in the mood now to do ANYTHING for them, because of hwo they have been behaving.

i know they are toddlers and toddlers do this sort of thing, but i feel like i have bent over backwards for them today and they have just taken the piss! (didnt say that to them of course)

look forward to getting them both to bed and eat as much chocolate as you can find!

well i have just sent my eldest to her room for some time out (ie go to your room before mummy strangles you sort of time out) because after spending an hour at luch messing over her sandwiches, she has now spent 45 minutes refusing to eat the slow cooked chicken casserole i made. I know meal times shouldnt be a battle ground, but honestly its so frustrating sometimes.
