....eugh, or doesn't have CARPET in the BATHROOM..... gggrrrrroooooossssssss!!!
But, the only reason I mention this is because the last place we rented in the UK was a tip, had carpet on the floor in the bathroom, and horrendously coloured walls everywhere, and we managed to get over 50quid off the monthly rent (then lived there for over 2yrs- tee hee- as rental prices around shot up even more), got ourselves a right bargain
Annndddd we insisted the put a lino floor down in the bathroom, and offered to paint the rooms ourselves if we got the cost back for the tins of paint.
Result. Lovely place in a lovely location for an absolute steal!
I suggest you go with that tactic!
