Think I'm going loopy....maybe someone can help?
Was there a thread on here about a Mum who was upset that her neighbour wouldn't sell their field to her for 10K...they wanted £60K.
I just wondered if it was on here?

Yes I’ve read it. I think she was livid they wanted to sell for market value and not what she can afford.

TY, found it....quite entertaining.
I couldn't get my head round why they wouldn't sell because of IHT.
Surely that would be CGT?
If they don't live there. Their children will be the ones to have to pay IHT on any property if not left to them already.
Funny how people think they have a right to other people's assets. Then to get annoyed when they don't get what they want.
