The air con award today goes to - my local co-op. Like a fridge, literally. Baltic. Made me wish I had a coat to put on. Any other nominations?

On Saturday whilst on a long car journey with two kids, I told DH to put the Aircon on and asked why he never puts it on. He said his car did not have AC. I proceeded to press the AC button and change the direction of air to body/feet (he always has the one in front of the windscreen when heating the car and never changes it) he couldn't believe that all this time his (2021 plate) car had AC.
Yes my DH is an idiot but I also discovered that his car has the best AC I've ever known, perhaps because it's never been used in 3 years!

I'm not usually particular fan of Starbucks but there's one not far from where I live that has absolutely ferocious air-con. I camped out there on Monday for a while and it was glorious.

Dd went to our local library to revise and apparently it has really good air con! I’d never have thought of that!

Local chemist was good yesterday too.

My local Waitrose was like being in a fridge today. With the temperature outside over 30 degrees again it never occurred to me to take a cardigan with me. I couldn’t get out fast enough! 😆

I was in my local town centre for a lunch meeting today but was 30 mins early and sweating like a pig. I decided to move from shop to shop to see which had the best air con on the High Street.

Card factory was the worst. TG Jones (formerly WH Smiths) and Mountain Warehouse were the coolest.

DH borrowed my car yrsterday.

When starting the engine today I thought I was behind a jet plane, it was so strong. At max, directed at driver.

Chococo - popped in for an ice cream today and they had a bowl of chocolate samples out. Since my chocolate at home isn’t doing well it was lovely to have a piece in an air conditioned cafe ☺️

Went into a Sainsbury’s Local and it was deliciously brisk. All the staff in fleeces and I was reluctant to leave. Also a special shout out to our local Co-op. Rubbish store but great air con.

My bloody office! There are only about 5 days of uk weather that make me feel defrosted and where I don’t need to wear thermals and sadly I spent one of them sat in arctic conditions today 😭😂

Local Kwik Fit whilst they sorted my car’s air con. It was so cold I didn’t use my newly refreshed air con on the drive home as I needed to warm up!
