I just keep seeing story after story of people who are morally right going way too far to make their points and actually end up hurting their cause.

Most recently a GC woman accosted an Marks and Spencers manager about their fitting rooms, filmed it and then went on to post his personal info all over twitter to incite harassment of someone just doing their job.

Looking at the comments, it's full of disgusting homophobic slurs and people calling this innocent man a nonce for simply explaining the store policy of which he has no control over.

If you watch the video, this poor man is working retail during this heatwave and the person filming chases him through the store. Am I unreasonable to think that this person just looks unhinged and that this kind of behavior is becoming more and more common?

Colchester @marksandspencer I asked where the women’s changing room was to try on swimwear. Manager Andrew (he/ his /him) says gender neutral changing areas are “completely safe” for women and girls. For asking him this question, he told me to leave th...

M&S
would listen more if women stopped shopping in a shop that does not respect their safety and dignity

So let’s stop buying stuff from M&S

M & S wouldn't even notice if a handful of women from MN stopped shopping there.

It isn’t just being discussed here

If people acted out their disgust at the treatment of women by boycotting the shop
M&S would soon rethink their policy and give women a safe space

retail industry data indicates that women account for over 70% of transactions in their clothing and apparel segments

Women's clothing generally accounts for approximately half of the total Clothing & Home sales division.
Heartland product categories like Women's Denim and Women's Knitwear are massive drivers of M&S's 10% overall clothing market share

M&S dominates the UK underwear and bra market, selling over 20 million bras annually.
It is estimated that up to one in two women in the UK buy their bras from M&S, making it one of the single largest drivers of female-driven sales in the entire company

Completely inappropriate to film employees like this and it's something I'd really like to see banned.

As for the intentions of the filmer and the suggestion by others that they should boycott m&s - the GC crowd seem to constantly forgetting who they're boycotting or they don't have the stamina to resist shopping😂 They were already meant to be boycotting m&s since ages ago, why was she even shopping there or expecting a different policy?

Most women in the UK won't care enough to boycott M & S.
