Neighbours teasing my reactive dog

My dogs been digging holes in the garden a lot the last few weeks, very specifically near the fence.

Just caught my neighbours banging on the fence and shaking it - which was making her bark and dig. She's very reactive.

I shouted out 'Oi, behave' and called my dog inside.

I went back out there to smoke maybe 20 minutes afterwards and caught the guy standing on something looking over the fence, he ducked down the moment I made eye contact.

I'm so fucked off, I've been wondering why despite all the training she's been going a bit ape shit lately, thought maybe it's the weather.

Why purposely tease a dog to make her bark??

I'm going to look for outdoor camera to put up to watch my fence area. Any recommendations that don't cost a bomb?

I don't get why someone would do this. I'm not unreasonable to get cameras that will clearly see into their garden, if I have to?

We have an idiot neighbour like yours and a reactive dog who runs into the garden barking at the slightest noise. Neighbour moans about everything and is always on Facebook slagging people off until him and his wife got barred. I caught him leaning out of his bathroom window goading my dog the 2nd time he did it I watched him trying to slide back in with dignity I shouted as I stared at him ‘what the f are you doing??’ Every time my dog barks I go out and look at his bathroom window goading- I can see their bathroom window from inside our house so I’m watching him as much as possible. I shout to my dog whenever he’s out loudly “don’t upset the neighbours” Im basically mocking our neighbour and taking the p out of him - a camera is good post and post it on your street WhatsApp group

ps some good ideas for training your dog here and hope you start to get results

Go round and ask him why he's calling your dog!

I think you are just going to have to bite the bullet and shout down the garden, oi! stop annoying me and my dog, every time he does it. Presumably he has a hatred/fear of dogs and feels all brave behind your fence. If he doesn't stop, get the local community cops to come round, they'll have a word.

He's using your ddog to harass you. The police need told imo.
