AIBU to be fed up with identical AI poster designs?

Anyone else sick of seeing the same AI type design for posters all over the place? Constantly over Facebook and now our local Costa is using the same template. Just seems such a shame, no creativity anymore 😅 I get why people use it and all the benefits for them but could people start asking it for a slightly different design 🤣😅

I was just commenting on this earlier. Eveey single advert on my local Facebook pages is AI whether it's advertising an event, a shop or service. Really dislike when its for a cafe or restaurant as the food looks nothing like the ad

Yes although the one you’ve attached isn’t like the one I see constantly. They’re so bloody obvious and all exactly the same apart from the pics and words.

I’m seeing this type all the time. It immediately makes me discount the business and scroll straight past.

However, every event local to me seems to use the exact same AI over-stylised brown tinged poster. I don’t get how they don’t see how naff it looks

I scroll by SO fast. It’s sloppy. I’m.not anti AI totally, but this is the height of laziness for big brands.especially.

I’ve spent all night creating my own poster. It’s not actually rocket science and I love learning. AI takes the learning away

YANBU. I run my own business and I make my own social media content - I really stand out because all our local competitors churn out identical glossy AI slop. I get much better engagement than all of them put together. The identikit AI graphics don't engender any trust or engagement, unlike the stuff I post.

I am part of a few facebook groups that let you know what events are on in the local area. I am inundated with these posters.

What gets me is the 'people' in them all have the same smiling face. Or the same dead eyes. Its a bit creepy. And a bit when some claim to support local business but seem to ignore artists
