AIBU to consider reporting someone for driving after smoking cannabis?

Or is it none of my business? To me it's as bad as drink driving if not worse but the police seem to turn a blind eye to weed smoking so would this just be the same? I also dont want any trouble but at the same time I'm aware someone was recently killed locally by someone driving after taking drugs so it is a concern.

As with drink-driving, I think it'd be justified if you reported them as it was happening so they could be caught and drug-tested.

YANBU

YANBU however you need to report while they're actually doing it, reporting saying x drove 2 days ago after smoking is pointless

This is what I was going to say.

The person is quite young and I know they've had a difficult time. I do have contact details for a member of their family who I could consider speaking to instead but it would be very obvious (to the smoker) that it had come from me.

If they do it regularly, it's certainly worth reporting. As with breathalysers for alcohol, police have roadside drug-testing capabilities.

Report them always. The last thing we need is another teenager dying hitting a tree.

Report them. How would you feel if you turned a blind eye and they killed somebody?

Just spent 1/2 hour on hold to 101 then gave up - not helpful 🙄

Do 101 online or crime stoppers online.
