Help please!!!

AIBU to go with the cheaper option?

we’re looking at getting our patio done and have had 3 quotes. 2 up in the 7k mark and one has come back at 3K. We’ve done the majority of work ourselves (digging out etc) so the price is just for laying a patio.

is the lower offer to good to be true? They’ve got loads of good reviews on google and fb plus are local to us.

WWYD?

YABU - go with a higher offer
YANBU - go with the lower offer

Is get another quote, the 3k sounds odd, are they definitely quoting for EXACTLY the same work as the other two? Check the details

What is the square meterage? What material is being laid.

Total costs are often double or more the cost of buying the paving itself to cover labour, dig out, spoil away, hard core etc.

It’s 50m2 porcelain. We’ve bought all the MOT1, drainage, sand, cement etc. I’m just really sceptical of the low price because both others came in at around 7.

If it really is bigger than an Olympic swimming pool (as your measurement suggests 😁), £7k is an absolute bargain!

Ours was about 2m x 4m and it cost £6k.
