Violence against women - international talking shop?

Different countries need to take such different actions. Is this going to help or just be a giant expensive talking shop and annual international jolly covering ground that is already or should be covered by the UN? I can't make my mind up.

I think Yvette Cooper should put her own house in order first, given the shocking, violent behaviour of her son against women.

That should say " support for". He is a nasty piece of work who thinks women should have no rights to privacy, dignity, safety from men.
