If you changed your number, would you tell people you haven’t spoken to in years?

If you changed your number, would you only give it to the people you actively speak to now
or would you also message old friends/acquaintances/contacts you haven’t spoken to in a long time just in case?

Changing your number almost forces you to decide who still exists in your actual social world versus who’s just sitting in your contacts out of history/habit. And sometimes there are people you still like or wish well but realistically haven’t spoken to for years.

Just wondered what most people do.

I only told the people I was still in touch with.
