Should I be worried about my psycho ex manager?

I was at a job for 2 weeks, left because of my toxic manager. Anyway on Saturday I asked Siri to call my friend, but it called my ex manager from this job, I hung up before it could answer and blocked the number. However this morning I wake up to her calling me on WhatsApp. I declined the call and then she called me from the stores phone… I answer and she says hi (my name) it’s your friend Sharon, from (store name), I say, excuse me? She then says I’ve got the (my name) and abruptly hangs up.

this felt slightly intimidating, AIBU in feeling uncomfortable about her calling me and should I be scared/worried?

You called her and hung up.

She did the same to you.

I mean it does seem like she was playing silly buggers but from her point of view you started it.

What does “I’ve got the [Lilac]” mean? She’s got a case of the Lilacs by calling and hanging up like you did?

She then says I’ve got the (my name)

I don’t understand what this means?

But no, there’s no need to be scared or worried.

She obviously just wanted to know why you were trying to contact her, because she didn’t know it was a mistake.

I would of answered on WhatsApp or messaged her saying sorry butt dial after it rang off. She was returning the missed call that was a mistake, bit weird she didn't say much and hung up.
Just blocker her and that number on everything!

Try not to worry about it unless she keeps calling off different numbers. Then go to the police as that isn't normal.

Why would she wait so long to return the call do you think tho?

She probably wanted to wait until she was back in work before calling you back.

Seriestwo · 15/05/2026 00:39

You are making no sense. I can’t see the issue. Your bitt dialed, she followed up and thought better of it and now there’s a nothing burger to pick over

are you job hunting? Concentrate on that?

She may have been busy, she may have forgot till she went to call someone else. Any reason I can only guess as you.

If you block the numbers she has called from, even if she does try she can't. If she tries other ways to contact you then that isn't normal.
