My nails look like a dead person don’t they

I tried a new salon for BIAB. I wanted a natural colour with a slight shimmer so the regrowth isn’t too noticeable. The lady was young and barely spoke to me, I just got the swatches passed to me and that was it - I don’t know why but I felt really awkward. I didn’t even get a “are they alright for you” the whole appointment was less than 30 mins. I paid and left, chose these as they were the best I could see to what I wanted but they aren’t how I imagined. Cost £29. Should I soak off and go elsewhere?

They look different lengths?

Honestly, I think they look fine. The first few BIAB sessions are always rough because it feels like very little progress! The colour maybe washes your skin tone out a bit but honestly, they’re still nice and presentable. I’d stick with them (or do a little fake tan on my hands 😅) until next session 😌xx

Yeah that's not good. It doesn't look very professional but it's not absolutely horrendous. I don't actually mind the colour. But don't go back there. I could do better!

Your nails are quite short anyway and to be honest I think you may as well just do them at home until they're a bit longer?

Can't you whack another colour over the top rather than start again?

Did you see a trainee? The colour is totally wrong for you but the application looks reasonable from that photo.
If you don’t plan on going back there you’ll probably have to soak off anyway was many nail techs won’t work on top of someone else’s work in case there are problems.
Regarding length/not filing, there’s not a lot of nail beyond the finger tip to work with so I’m not that surprised she left them. In 3-4 weeks you’ll have decent growth that she’ll be able to get an actual shape on all nails.
