To expect another check in before friend booked holiday?

3 of us going away for a week, slightly complex logistics with travel and using a firm to book the main bit, it’s a hiking type holiday. We had a chat about it and one friend was going to check out something as was the other friend. Then get a message through saying deposit paid. Surely one more check before that?

Sounds to me like you wanted to be the one in charge and are slightly annoyed that you weren't that person.

Well I could not have been happy with the arrangement but not been checked in with before it was finally booked as I thought we were still at the planning stage.

But I'll take it on the chin that IABU.

But I probably won't change my practice when organising group things of sending a final - I'm going to book 'x and y' these dates, it's this price - check text.
